Coronavirus restrictions

The Church of Scotland is maintaining close contact with the Scottish Government and has issued guidelines, checklists and risk assessment protocols, to every church. Following and implementing this guidance allowed us to safely reopen our church premises on Sunday 20th September.

Sadly, however, with Covid cases on the rise and our area being raised to the highest Tier 4 restriction level from Boxing Day, we have taken the decision to suspend in-church services until at least Sunday 17th January.

The Church of Scotland is very conscious of the need to continue provision of spiritual resources in this time, both nationally and locally. While physical services were cancelled, a number of churches have moved to offer online worship.

We, in Crosshouse, have been providing ‘virtual’ services since late March and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. The current week’s service and the archive of all the services can be found on the Menu above.

Crosshouse Foodbank

There is a Foodbank up and running in Crosshouse. It is operating from the Church Hall on Tuesday and Friday from 12 – 3pm.
Donations can be handed in at the door during these times. Our thanks go to East Ayrshire Vibrant Communities, Crosshouse Community Council and Crosshouse Action Now for facilitating this.

All donations should be non-perishable.

Kilmarnock Standard Intimations

Anyone with church related intimations they wish to go into the Churches Section of The Standard, please provide the details to Jim Greig at latest by the Wednesday noon of the week prior to the week of publication. Email:
